2012 Good Food Guide

Taipan, who offer quality Chinese cuisine, have been included in the Good Food Guide 2012.

The Guide is written from scratch annually and is well regarded by critics, venues and the public alike as the bible of the best places to eat around the UK.  Those involved in the writing of the book visit each venue undercover as normal paying customers to assess the quality of food and service for themselves and then all venues to be included in the guide are informed in August. 

This is the first year Taipan have been included in the Guide and they are pleased their top quality food and attentive service has been recognised at a National level.  They have already established themselves as one of the best Chinese restaurants for many miles around, and last year they brought in a new Head Chef from London to join their already established Dim Sum Chef to create a winning combination.

Taipan are open daily for lunch and again for dinner from 5.30 until 11pm.  They offer a pre-theatre menu, are happy to serve after a show and run special offers plus a comprehensive take away menu.  You are guaranteed a fantastic welcome, amazing service throughout and they are incredibly welcoming of children of all ages and all manner of groups.
