On Sunday 27th November The Theatre District is yet again celebrating switching on it's Festive lights with a massive family fun event.
Starting just after 4pm the main entertainment will begin around 4.30pm the 2011 event promises to be bigger and better than ever. With music, singing, loads of entertainment and fun, even Father Christmas has given up a few hours out of his busy schedule to join us!
The benefiting charity is AYME - Association of Young People with ME - a small National charity based in Milton Keynes. Everything will be FREE at the event, including children's fun fair rides, but donations for the charity are encouraged.
As well as the MK Parkour (free runners) Display Team we are also pleased to welcome Daniel Cutter, a professional freestyle footballer and three times Guiness World Record Breaker.
Music will again be provided by MK Brass and MK Rock Choir will be out in force singing their hearts out, as well as leading visitors in a traditional carol sing along. We will, of course, have several mascots helping our younger visitors enjoy the event and enjoying some crazy mascot fun.
We will be joined by Dru Baker, a local 12 year old who suffers from ME, along with Lee Dickson, scrum-half from Northampton Saints Rugby Club, who will be illuminating our beautiful 30 foot Christmas tree.
Refreshments and mulled wine will be available free of charge and many of the Theatre District tenants have kindly donated prizes for the AYME charity tombola, so you could win yourself a free meal!
Kids eat free at Bella Italia, Pizza Hut, Slug & Lettuce and Red Hot World Buffet when an adult pays full price on the Theatre District on Sunday 27th November.
